The Wilk's House
Huck, the King, and the Duke find out about a
rich man who has just died. The King and the Duke pretend to be his brothers. Everyone believes them. They give the old man's fortune to the nieces. The King and the Duke start to talk to everyone as if they knew them their whole lives. The King and the Duke steal the money Huck feels bad about it and decide to look around their room. The King and the Duke come in and Huck hides he watches them hide the money in their mattress. Huck takes it and puts it in the old man's coffin. They have the funeral and Huck gets nervous that they will find the money but no one notices. Within the next few days the King and the Duke sell the slaves and they also interrogate Huck about the money. Huck says that the slaves took it. The King and the Duke are mad but can't do anything about it. They decide to action the house and all the furniture. Huck ends up telling one of the nieces about the King and the Duke's scam and she goes off to her friends for a while. Huck tries to leave in the middle of the night but the King and the Duke catch up with them the next day.
